This project was a comprehensive Master Plan for a new community in the City of Chula Vista. The 3,219 acre project consists of over 11,000 residential units, an Employment Park, a Mixed Use Commercial and Activity Center, a Major Hospital and Medical Center. Included throughout the EastLake neighborhoods are extensive recreational facilities featuring a Lake and Beach Club located within the EastLake Shores neighborhood, an 18 hole regulation Golf Course located within the EastLake Greens neighborhood and an Equestrian Facility is located within the Recreation Spine between the EastLake Trails and the EastLake Vistas neighborhoods. All of these recreation amenities are linked via an inter-connecting community spine pedestrian / bike trail. In addition, the U. S. Olympic year-round Olympic Training Facility is located along the edge of the Lower Otay Reservoir within the EastLake property.
